About Me
I’ve always loved working with numbers. From a very young age I knew I was going to be an accountant. I have a BA degree in Accounting & Human Resources, trained to be an Irish Chartered Accountant and now have 19+ years of experience in industry and practice. I am passionate about female empowerment: my vision is to empower women to take control, own and enjoy their money and make it work for them, be that either in their personal or business life.
I became an accountant because I thought it would be really interesting - that I could help companies grow, make important decisions and generally help companies become better, stronger, and more profitable. I was successful and worked in some really amazing companies. I have met, worked with and learned from so many interesting and inspiring people along the way.
It was only when I reached a level of seniority years earlier than I could ever have dreamed of, that I realised something was missing.
And then I was made redundant. It was like the universe was saying: you haven’t made the leap away from this career so I am forcing your hand! I took some time out to think and dream about what I wanted to do next - to carve out a career that uses my education, my skills and my experience while also incorporating all the areas I loved about my previous roles.
Yes! I wanted to teach finance – and so I became a financial coach.
Through one-to-one and group coaching, Conscious Finance Coaching removes the fear around money, empowering women to take control of their personal and business finances, unlocking their financial freedom, opening them up to a fulfilling, wealthy and conscious life.
